The Story of the Buhera Basket (Fairtrade)

These stunning baskets are woven in the Buhera district, in central Zimbabwe, by the Hera people. The traditional, tribal art baskets are made from creeping vines or climbing plants. They are traditionally used by the locals for storing grain and other dried foods.
